Only when the conditions mentioned above are met, can the orthodontist correctly recognize the type of orthodontic problem, and implement the proper appliances for a beautiful and lasting effect.<\/p>\n<p>A consistent patient is expected to:<\/p>\n<p>Follow the instructions of the orthodontist in relation to the use of orthodontic devices, be punctual in his appointments, and maintain impeccable oral hygiene. Furthermore if the treatment requires dental work (fluoridation, fillings, extractions, etc.) it should be scheduled as soon as possible.
